Welcome to the world of AKA Concept

First of all, let me say that AKA Concept is an experiment….

Its the very first time I am actually sitting here writing in my 60m2 vintage apartment with view to the very top of the Prime Tower shining in the winter sun.

It is funny, how 2015 has started very dynamic and people are looking for new things to do this year. It seems like the changes of the last few years turn into action and this is when timing is called as right. It is a momentum that you should not miss. A step to take and by saying this one of my most favorite quotas comes to my busy mind “A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step”. I am more than happy to go this journey together with you and hope that we get to know each other step by step.

AKA Concept will be here sharing ideas, useful advice and knowhow on things that might be seen and taken for granted for many of you, but still will never be out of fashion!

AKA concept will be a plattform for you, your friends, your mums, sisters, brothers, soulmates and whoever wants to express their inside world in styling, looks or simple themes for their every day life. Because only when you live your inside world to the outside you can complete your picture and reflect your personality to anyone interested in getting to know you.

I am happy to receive messages, suggestions, questions, wishes or anything of interest to you and will try to give you feedback on all your requests. This is to assist you in feeling comfortable with yourself and to guide you through the jungle of fashion until you find your own little fashion path that will underline whatever you love about yourself.

AKA concept will help you find new visions, remember old characteristics, experiment with yourself and believe in who you are.

Because lets not forget “If you ever let your head down, it should be just to admire yourself”.

Yours,

AKA Concept

Daniel Jackson Shoots Christy Turlington in Calvin Klein for WSJ. Magazine

[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]Daniel Jackson shot supermodel Christy Turlington and Calvin Klein creative directors Francisco Costa, Italo Zucchelli and Kevin Carrigan for WSJ. Magazine. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.[/dropcap]

[blockquote]Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it?[/blockquote]

But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?
On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so blinded by desire, that they cannot foresee the pain and trouble that are bound to ensue; and equal blame belongs to those who fail in their duty through weakness of will, which is the same as saying through shrinking from toil and pain.

These cases are perfectly simple and easy to distinguish. In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.
